This rod holder is designed for Spey Rods and Fly Rods with fighting butts. It is the same design as our original Kwik Catch single hand fly rod holder, but has larger diameter base tubes to accommodate fly rods with fighting butts and thicker handles. If you are a fisherman that uses both a Spey rod and a single hand fly rod as well, this unit will work for both! Unit will hold 2 Fly Rods.
